Revised Water Plan Allows Watering Once Every Seven Days beginning April 1
Stage 3 water restrictions will be relaxed by the City of Heath with the approval of the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), the city?s water supplier via the City of Rockwall.
As of April 1, City of Heath water customers will be allowed to water landscapes and lawns with sprinklers or irrigation systems once every 7 days. The schedule, shown below, may be updated periodically and published in the City?s monthly newsletters and online at www.heathtx.com. You can also view a complete list of actions allowed and prohibited at the City?s website by selecting the Drought Declaration document.
Activities that will continue to be prohibited under Stage 3 include:
- Hosing of paved areas, buildings, or windows. (Pressure washing of impervious surfaces is allowed.)
- Washing and rinsing of vehicles by hose except with a hose and cutoff nozzle.
- Using water in such a manner as to allow runoff or other waste.
Addresses ending in the numbers listed are allowed to water on the dates shown between the hours of 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. the following day.
Sunday - No Watering
Monday - 1 or 6
Tuesday - 2 or 7
Wednesday - 3 or 8
Thursday - 4 or 9
Friday - 5 or 0
Saturday - No Watering
