The community is very proud of our schools and the Rockwall Independent School District (RISD). Our schools continue to grow, exemplified by the recent Amphitheater addition to Rockwall-Heath High School. Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary

Dorothy Smith Pullen Elementary School is the seventh elementary school to be built in Rockwall ISD. The school opened its doors to students in the fall of 1999, and its name honors a highly respected Rockwall teacher, Mrs. Dorothy Smith Pullen.
Amy Parks – Heath Elementary

The school’s name honors distinguished local educator Amy Parks, and identifies its geographic location in the City of Heath. The school’s namesake spent her entire 35-year career teaching Rockwall’s first graders to read and preparing them for the future. The school’s site was made possible through the generosity of Dorothy and K.K. Stanfield who donated the 12-acres. The school’s recreational area is named in honor of the Stanfields, who are long time residents of Heath.
Maurine Cain Middle School

Maurine Cain was a life long resident of Rockwall County and a graduate of Rockwall High School. Her teaching career spanned 38 years, beginning in a one-room country school. Mrs. Cain retired from Rockwall schools in 1982 after a distinguished teaching career that included every grade level. The Cain family is well known and respected in the community.

The Fulton School currently serves students across four counties in the Lake Ray Hubbard community. The campus is located on 16.5 acres in the beautiful rural community of Heath, Texas.
