Due to a notice provision, the public hearing and Planning & Zoning Commission consideration previously scheduled for November 4, 2014 have been rescheduled to a special meeting on November 10, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at Heath City Hall. The Commission will not receive comments or consider the application on November 4, 2014.
Notice of Public Hearings before the Heath Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council: Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings starting at 7:00 PM, Monday, November 10, 2014 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr. Further notice is given that the City Council will hold public hearings starting at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Heath City Hall. November 18 is an exception to the Council’s regular meeting date due to Veterans Day. The City may continue a public hearing should an applicant so request. Citizens are invited to attend and participate in these public hearings. Special notice will be given to property owners within 200’ of the subject properties. The Commission and the Council will consider the applications of Darren Mabry of Talus Development Group, LLC for a zoning change from Agricultural (A) to Planned Development (PD) zoning district for single-family residential use consisting of 95 residential lots of varying size on 109.60 acres of land in the A. Rodriguez Survey A-231 (RCAD Tracts 39, 40 and 42, parcel IDs 12978, 12979 and 12980) situated on the south side of Rabbit Ridge Road between FM 549 and Rabbit Ridge Road, Heath, Rockwall County, TX.
