Transcript: Heath In Motion - Food Trucks are Coming. Speaker: City of Heath Mayor Jeremiah McClure I’m excited to share some great news—food trucks are starting to come to Towne Center Park on a regular basis! The newly renovated park includes a Festival Street specifically designed to accommodate food trucks. And as more residents and visitors enjoy everything the park has to offer, we’ve heard a lot of interest in having food trucks available—not only for special events, but also for regular park use. We want you to be able t enjoy a game of pickleball, shoot some hoops, let the kids play in the interactive fountain, or take a walk on the trails—and then grab a cold drink, a snack, or even a full meal without having to leave the park. As a parent who knows how busy those sports practice and game nights can be, I think this will be especially convenient for families spending time at Towne Center Park. So if you’re a food truck operator interested in joining the City’s roster, visit the City’s website and look for the Parks and Recreation Reservations Portal on the front page. You’ll find the requirements and application information there. The daily food truck fee is $50, with an optional $10 fee for electrical service, along with a reservation process. We have so much to be excited about in Heath, and I’m glad to see Towne Center Park becoming an even more vibrant place for our community to gather, play and enjoy time together. We are indeed a premier outdoor lifestyle community, and every action, every decision supports this vision. Thank you for your support, and God Bless Heath.
