NATURE TRAIL CONNECTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENT Speaker: City of Heath Mayor Jermiah McClure As a Premier Outdoor Recreation Lifestyle Community, expanding our parks and trails continues to be a top priority. I'm excited to share that we've added new nature trail connections along Chris Cuny Parkway in The Reserve, next to Heath High School. These new connections link Chris Cuny Parkway to the property at 305 Laurence, the paved trail along Laurence Drive, and the Paw Grounds dog recreation area—a new amenity made possible through the Heath Economic Development Corporation and the generous donation of a Heath resident. The new trails also provide access to a beautiful pond and connect with the paved trail loop around Tom Thumb, continuing through The Reserve all the way to Smirl Drive. That means nearly 70 acres of City and Heath Economic Development and Municipal Benefits Corporation property are now connected and open for you to explore. Whether you start near Tom Thumb or one of the trailheads, I encourage you to get outside and enjoy everything these new connections have to offer. Early mornings and evenings are especially beautiful this time of year, and the trails will be spectacular this fall as the weather cools down. Thank you for the privilege of serving as your mayor, and I hope to see you on the trails!
