CITY MODERNIZES UTILITY BILLING PLATFORM
The City is pleased to announce that we are upgrading our utility payment system to the cloud-based OpenGov Utility Payment Services to better serve you beginning January 15, when a link to the new system will be published.
This upgrade is one of the final steps to the City modernizing its enterprise software, a project that is intended to improve reliability, efficiency and transparency.
What you need to do is based on how you pay your bill:
Automatic Credit Card Payment
- If your payment is automatically drafted from a credit card, you will need to create a new account.
- Your new user information will be the account and PIN number found on the upper-right hand corner of your January bill.
- Registration opens January 15.
- To ensure payments are received on time to avoid late fees and penalties, please set up your new account to use in February.
- Bills are due February 10.
Online Banking “Bill Pay”
- If you use the bill pay feature on your online banking system, update the bill payee information with the new account found on the upper-right hand corner of your January bill, due February 10.
Automatic Bank Draft
- If your monthly bill payment is automatically drafted from your bank account, you do not need to take any action.
In Person
- Payments by drop box, phone and in-person will continue to be available as currently offered.
