HEATH COMMUNITY ROOM

The Heath Community Center Board generously donated the land for Heath City Hall in 1982, and is committed to ensuring that a Community Room is available to Heath residents.

COMMUNITY ROOM RENTAL

The Heath Community Room is a place for celebrations, meetings and other gatherings. The spacious center with kitchen facilities is available for rental to residents of Heath for events held after regular business hours.

COMMUNITY ROOM GUIDELINES

Who Can Rent

The Heath Community Room is available for rent after regular business hours Monday through Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday.

City of Heath residents
Resident organizations & businesses
Government agencies
Nonprofits affiliated with the City

How to Reserve

Submit the official rental application found below. Must be 21 years or older to rent.

Reservations:

Up to 6 months in advance
At least 7 business days before event

Reservation is confirmed only after:

City approval
Signed agreement
Payment of all fees & deposit

Fees & Deposits

Rental fees and deposits are set by City Council (see Fee Schedule).
Refundable deposit required.
Deposit may be withheld for damage, excessive cleaning, overtime, or policy violations.
Unpaid reservations may be canceled.

Allowed Uses

Meetings, workshops, trainings
Civic & community events
Social gatherings & private parties
Religious or fraternal meetings

Not Allowed:

Illegal activity, property damage, unapproved commercial use, fire code violations, or adult-oriented events.

Alcohol & Food

Alcohol requires advance written approval and may require insurance/security.
Food & non-alcoholic beverages permitted.
Renter is responsible for cleanup.

Setup & Decorations

Setup and cleanup must occur within your reserved time.
No nails, screws, damaging tape, glitter, confetti, or fog machines.
Do not alter thermostats or City equipment.
Return room to original setup before leaving.

Cleanup Responsibilities

Before exiting:

Remove all decorations and personal items
Dispose of trash properly
Wipe surfaces
Restore original room configuration

Additional cleaning fees may apply.

Cancellations

Renter cancellations follow the City’s refund schedule.
If the City cancels (emergency or official use), all fees will be refunded.

Important Notes

Reservations cannot be transferred or subleased.
Renters are responsible for guests, vendors, and damages.
The City may deny or terminate rentals for policy violations.
