NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: FISCAL YEAR 2026 PROPOSED ANNUAL BUDGET – 09/09/25
The City of Heath will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, concerning its 2026 Fiscal Budget for the period of October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026. The Public Hearing will be held at a meeting of the City Council at 6:30 p.m. at 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas in the Council Chambers.
This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $377,887, which is a 3.84% increase, and of that amount $196,850 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
A copy of the proposed 2026 Fiscal Budget is available for public inspection at City Hall located at 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas, and may be reviewed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
