SCAM EMAIL ALERT: REGARDING PLANNING & ZONING

The City is aware that a SCAM email is being sent to citizens and customers of the City of Heath regarding outstanding invoices from the “City of Heath Planning and Zoning Department”.

The City has not issued these notices, which are coming from a fraudulent address “planning.heathtx@usa.com”. The City’s email ends with “@heathtx.com”. Do not engage, wire or transfer funds in response to this email. Never click on unknown links. If you have questions about any invoice or email from the City of Heath, please contact the Community Development Department at 972-961-4878 or aferrell@heathtx.com.

Please be assured that the City of Heath’s systems remain secure, and there has been no breach or compromise of City data related to these fraudulent emails. These scam emails are in no way connected to the City’s systems and originate from a completely separate, unauthorized source. We continue to actively monitor and safeguard our network to protect the information and trust of our residents and customers.
