Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings starting at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr. Further notice is given that the City Council will hold a public hearing starting at 6:30 PM, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Heath City Hall. The Commission and the Council will consider the application of Double Eagle Properties, LLC for a zoning change from Agricultural (A) to Planned Development (PD) zoning district for local retail and residential uses on 13.5 acres consisting of 1.5 acres for retail/commercial use consistent with the Planned Development (PD) District created by Ordinance 150714B and 39 residential lots of minimum size 7700 square foot on 12 acres of land in the A. Teal Survey A-207 (RCAD tracts 115-02, 115-05; RCAD parcel ID #s 54069 and 32773, respectively); situated near the southwest corner of the intersection of FM 740, FM 549 and FM 550, Heath, Rockwall County, TX. Special notice will be given to owners of property within 200’ of the subject property. The City may continue a public hearing should an applicant so request.
