CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATES

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATES
REBUILDING THE CULVERT
The Meadowview Road Culvert Replacement project was initiated in response to the structural failure of existing culverts, which led to the closure of the roadway due to the high risk of collapse.
These improvements are designed to restore safe vehicular access and improve stormwater flow in the area.
This project has been completed, with permanent guardrails estimated to be delivered and installed by the end of February.
The repair of the Meadowview Culvert is underway.
City Council awarded a bid for the Meadowview Road Culvert Replacement in the amount of $784, 000 at the September 23 City Council meeting. This was one of 10 bids received, and the project is expected to take 6 months to complete.
The start date will soon be determined and published. The contractor is Four Star Excavating, Inc.
Re-opening the road as quickly, and safely, as possible is a high priority.
Council will discuss and act on a construction bid at the September 23 City Council meeting. Once a contractor is selected, an estimated start and finish date will be determined. Re-opening the road as quickly, and safely, as possible is a high priority.
