The City does not have information regarding how much longer the outages will last. Please communicate directly with your service provider. However, if you have been without power for 24 hours or longer, please assume that your service will not be restored for another day or even longer.

We urge you to please make plans to leave your home to find warmth. If you need help leaving your home, please call our emergency dispatch at 972-771-7724 and our DPS officers will assist with either an escort or ride. The Rockwall County Office of Emergency Management is also assisting in this effort.

If you do not have anywhere to go, Heath City Hall is available as a warming center. Please bring your own bedding, food/water and mask. If you need assistance getting to City Hall, Heath DPS can assist. Call dispatch at 972-771-7724.

COVID - 19 PROTOCOL

Unfortunately, if you are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive or been around anyone who has tested positive within the past 14 days, or you or anyone you have been with have been told to quarantine within the past 14 days, you cannot shelter at City hall for the safety of the other citizens and staff. Screening is being conducted upon entry.

If you know of anyone who is NOT on social media or does NOT have access to our website, please help us get this message to them personally. If you are concerned about the welfare of anyone in our community such as an elderly or disabled person and cannot reach them, please call dispatch with that information and we will organize a welfare check and assistance as needed.
