Waste Connections has ceased trash and recycling collection operations for the remainder of today, Tuesday, January 31 and Wednesday, February 1 due to safety concerns regarding ice. Due to an emergency repair NTWMD is requesting customers including the City of Rickwall and City of Heath to conserve water. Stage 3 restrictions continue to apply in Heath. Read more.
Under the Stage 3 Restrictions, City of Heath customers are limited to watering landscapes and lawns with sprinklers or irrigation systems once every two weeks. No watering may occur any day between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Stage 3 restrictions are mandatory and fines apply for those who do not comply.
