CITY HALL OPENS TO PUBLIC MAY 20

Heath City Hall will re-open all offices to the public beginning Wednesday, May 20, at 8 a.m. Business hours will continue to be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For the safety of the public and City staff, the following will be required:

  • Visitors must wear a mask or facial covering.
  • All staff will wear masks when interacting with the public.
  • Social distancing will be strictly enforced. T his may require visitors waiting outside when lobby areas are at capacity, and we thank you for your patience.

Municipal Court

The Municipal Court will resume proceedings on June 8. The same requirements listed above will apply.

City Meetings

All City Council and Board and Commission meetings will continue virtually via Zoom until further notice.

City Facilities

City of Heath parks have remained open. However, per the Governor’s guidelines as of May 18, people should continue to avoid being in a group of 10 or more. Within these groups, individuals should minimize in-person contact with others who are not in their own household.

At this time, pavilions will not be rented out for gatherings exceeding 10 people. The community room will not be available for rental until further notice.

Per the Governor’s guidelines as of May 18, youth sports may hold practices without spectators other than one parent or guardian per participant beginning May 31. Those sports may begin holding games or similar competitions, with or without spectators, on or after June 15. Spectators should maintain at least 6 feet social distancing from individuals not within their own household.

Reminder:

Minimizing in-person contact includes maintaining 6 feet of separation between each other. When maintaining 6 feet of separation is not feasible, other methods should be utilized to slow the spread of COVID-19, such as wearing a face covering or mask, washing or sanitizing hands frequently, and avoiding sharing utensils or other common objects.
