The Weather Has Been Hot, And So Has The Demand For Water!

Water use in Heath has soared with the summer temperatures as residents try to keep lawns green, plants and flowers alive, and pools filled. That means utility bills have also increased for most customers. Average consumption citywide more than doubled from June to July, and increased again in August, as shown below.

While this summer has been drier than 2018, you still want to compare your current month’s bill to the same time a year ago to determine if there might be an issue. If you continue to have concerns, please contact the City at 972-771-6228 for a possible re-read of your meter. Hopefully, Fall will bring relief with more comfortable temperatures and just the right amount of rain!
