GOV. GREG ABOTT CONGRATULATES THE CITY
Governor Greg Abbott congratulated the City of Heath upon receipt of Music Friendly Texas Community Certification.
“Congratulations to the City of Heath, the 97th Music Friendly Texas Certified Community,” said Governor Greg Abbott in a recent news release regarding the City becoming a Music Friendly Texas Certified Community!
“This recognition highlights Heath’s commitment to strengthening community connections, supporting local talent, and creating new opportunities for economic growth. Live music brings people together, enriches our culture, and enhances the quality of life that makes our communities special. I applaud the City of Heath, its leadership, and the Texas Music Office for their work in making this achievement possible, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact this designation will have for years to come,” added Senator Bob Hall.
Achieving this designation is an initiative of the City of Heath Park Board.
Plans for live music in Heath include the upcoming National Night Out on October 7 and Christmas in Heath on December 5. Vinyl Stripes and an ensemble of the RHHS Champion Infiniti Choir performed at the July 4 Towne Center Park Grand Opening.
