COMMUNITY WATER USAGE UPDATE
Currently the City remains in Stage 1 conservation allowing irrigation twice per week.
However, extreme heat continues to push daily water use close to the threshold that triggers Stage 2 conservation measures. Stage 2 restricts irrigation to only once per week to allow the water system to replenish storage facilities for daily use and emergency response needs such as fire fighting.
In order to remain in Stage 1 conservation, allowing twice per week watering, it is essential that everyone adhere to their watering days and conserve water as much as possible (see schedule and usage levels).
If we all work together over the next few weeks, we may be able to avoid moving to Stage 2 conservation.
