PARK HOURS

All City parks are open to the public from dawn to dusk daily, unless otherwise posted.

GENERAL PARK REGULATIONS

  • Watch for Wildlife
  • No Unauthorized Motor/Electric Vehicles
  • Pets must be on a Leash (except at Heath Paw Grounds)
  • No Camping or Loitering
  • No Fire of Any Kind
  • No Tobacco or Alcohol
  • No Dumping

Specific regulations are posted at each park.

TOWNE CENTER PARK

A SIGNATURE PARK – 200 LAURENCE DRIVE, HEATH, TX

The park is part of a broader vision for creating a true town center in Heath—a place for community events, recreation, trails, dining, and future commercial development while maintaining the city’s lakeside, semi-rural character.

TOWNE CENTER PARK AMENITIES

Main Entrance & Pond
Final pond design captures stormwater from the park and is intended to be refilled by Water Well #1 in the City Water Bridge Plan. The park will be irrigated using reclaimed water from the pond. Well funded separately under City Utilities Fund.

Landscaping
Plant selections are native or native adaptive to Texas, drought tolerant, and are low water use once established -The irrigation for the plants will be from the pond water. Educational Signage.

Event Lawn & Pavilion
Seating capacity up to 2,000 (assuming 10 sqft per person).
Seating capacity up to 600 (assuming 25 sqft per person).
Structural capacity for stage lights/equipment.

Parking
Main Lot: 114 Spots + 6 ADA.
41 additional parallel parking spots.
Area Lots: Amy Parks; churches; Tom Thumb center.

Sports Fields
Multi-use fields A, B, C, D (can be striped for soccer).
Baseball (new grading & stormwater system solves ponding in the baseball field).

Dry Pond
Captures water in a storm event; prevents downstream flooding.

Sports Courts
2 half-court, lighted basketball courts.
8 fenced-in pickleball courts (6 covered/lighted; 2 uncovered/no lights).

Festival Street for Food Trucks
Interior Festival Street:
Three 44’ length spots- room for 6 standard food trucks or 3 trucks pulling trailers

Exterior Festival Street (Parking Lot):
Six 44’ length spots-room for 12 standard food trucks or 6 trucks pulling trailers

TERRY PARK

A LAKESIDE PARK – 599 TERRY LANE, HEATH, TX

Terry Park is a lakeside community park in Heath on the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard. It’s one of Heath’s best spots for boating, picnics, amazing sunset views, and family outings.

ANTIGUA BAY PARK

Antigua Bay Park is a 1.7 acre neighborhood park located within the Antigua Bay subdivision. It is a quiet residential park intended primarily for nearby residents and visitors seeking a neighborhood green space.

HEATH PAW GROUNDS

DOG RECREATION AREA – 305 LAURENCE DRIVE, HEATH, TX

Heath Paw Grounds is a special place for our four-legged friends comprising over 3 acres of open space.

Users Users PARK VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS/EVENTS

PATH was launched to unite citizens in creating the parks, trails and green spaces to increase the quality of life and community vitality of our premier, lakeside open space community.

The program offers civic-minded organizations an opportunity to help keep our parks and trails attractive and safe by “adopting” a specific trail segment or park area.

What makes Heath a special place is our community’s hometown spirit, evident when friends and neighbors gather at the special events hosted by the City.

REQUIREMENTS/REFUNDS

Proof of residency must be shown at the time of payment with either a utility bill, driver’s license or credit card address.

Non-profit, community-based and faith-based organizations showing proof of 501(c) (3) status may pay the resident fee to reserve practice fields and pavilions.

Rental fees are non-refundable without a 72-hour advanced notice of cancellation. In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, a refund request must be made within in 72 hours of the reservation date. A $10 administrative fee applies to all refunds.
