ROAD CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

2020-2021 Annual Concrete Roadway Repair Project

PROJECT SCOPE:

The City concrete roadway repair project is the replacement of concrete pavement at various locations throughout the City, including repair of several sections of Heathland Crossing between FM-740 and White Road.

  • The work on Phase 1 of the Heathland Crossing repair is complete.
  • Phase 2, eastbound Heathland Crossing from the end of Phase 1 to White Road, is scheduled to be complete, Tuesday, August 17.
  • Phase 3, is the reconstruction of portions of the westbound lanes, between FM-740 and the second median opening on Heathland Crossing. The westbound lanes between FM-740 and White Road will be closed during the construction. The eastbound lanes, between FM-740 and White Road, will become a temporary two-way roadway (during this phase). Phase 3 is scheduled to start Friday, August 20, and is anticipated to be reconstructed in 3 weeks, weather dependent.
  • Construction is allowed between 7:00 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday. There will be no work on Sundays.
  • Access to homes within the detour area will be maintained during construction.
