CONSTRUCTION NOTICE: TXDOT FM-1140 (Smirl) OVERLAY PROJECT

PROJECT SCOPE:

The TXDOT roadway improvement project includes the addition of 2-foot shoulders and the removal of the existing asphalt pavement and the installation of a new asphalt surface. The project is from FM-740 (CVS) to the FM-1140/Hubbard Drive/FM-740 intersection.
FM-1140 (Smirl)

  • Beginning Thursday, April 11, Old FM-740 will be closed, between FM-740 and FM-1140 (Smirl), for 10 days (weather dependent) due to construction on FM-1140. Traffic will be detoured to FM-1140 (Smirl) from FM-740.
