PUBLIC HEARING: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 483 TERRY LANE

Notice is hereby given that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Heath, Texas, will hold a public hearing at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas. Further notice is given that a second public hearing is scheduled where the request and the recommendation of the Planning and Zoning Commission will be considered by the City Council of the City of Heath, Texas, at a meeting that begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Dr., Heath, Texas. Please Note: Public Hearings may be tabled from time to time by the reviewing body, which may affect the date of final action.
At such time, the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council will conduct a Public Hearing and act on an application for a Conditional Use Permit as required by the Heath Code of Ordinances, § 159.21 (B)(14) to allow a detached residential garage in the (SF-43) Single Family Residential District and grant a variance to § 159.21 (B)(14)(d) Maximum Size for a Single Accessory Structure of 900 square feet to permit a detached garage of 1,600 square feet.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: 1.0 acre of land described Abstract 157, HJ McKenzie Survey, Tract 3 and addressed as 483 Terry Lane, City of Heath, Rockwall County, (Case No. CUP-2024-01).
